Most of our clients are well known corporations, from small to large, that are keen to pursue the themes of continuous improvement and innovation. As a result our software is in use with some of the most active programs in the world.
Founded in 1992, ISDE now has approaching two decades of experience
in the field of ideas management. We have supplied and continue
to maintain some of the largest, most successful and varied suggestion
schemes both in the
Capitalising on the Rapid Application Development capability of our PrIsM produyct base, ISDE have been successful in meeting the requirements of a wide vaiety of systems in rapid timescales. We have continued to support and enhance the product base over the years and it has now evolved into the current highly successful baseis for suggestion schemes, feedback and tracking sytems capable of processing 2,000 ideas per month. Several of our clients have 50,000 or more staff with access to the system.
We have now deployed PrIsM ideas management systems to more than
30 customers, and have the highest volume of ideas management sales
in the
Product Innovation
As an innovative company, ISDE has been keen to exploit new technologies and apply them to the ideas management process. Indeed, many of the techniques now common to suggestion software systems were pioneered by ISDE, but we always ensure that the technologies are stable, have gained market acceptance with our customer base and most importantly, add value to the process.
In November 2007, our managing director, Robert Wood, received a BAE Systems Chairman’s Innovation Award for the novel reward structure he proposed that underpins the PRIDE suggestion
programme. As a result, PRIDE participation rate moved from 12% to over 50% (the percentage of employees that submitted an idea in one year), with around 3,200 ideas submitted since March 2006 achieving savings of around £18 Million.
Process Driven Tailoring
The philosophy behind our software supply is that the solution must reflect the process used within the particular suggestion scheme. It is remarkable how different the process maps are from one customer to the next, when you get down to the important details that make for a successful implementation. The result of this approach is that most of our customers will describe the resulting system as “intuitive”. The system behaves just as they expect because it is tightly coupled to the process that they want to run.
